The iconic Black Cat café at the corner of Brunswick and Greeves Street is situated in a three story Victorian polychrome brick building complete with beautiful arched windows and two towers. The original for this piece was drawn in pencil then etched into aluminium sheet. The sheet is cut and shaped to form a three dimensional image. This was painted in oil paint picking out sections in detail.
